Collaboration with Nathaniel Fisher
Written By Ava Daniels.
I am fortunate to have the opportunity to collaborate with Nathaniel William Fisher on a regular basis, as we strive to produce captivating and thought-provoking images to complement his compelling writing. Nathaniel is not only a talented poet, but also possesses a wealth of life experiences that inform his work, allowing him to explore all facets of existence and evoke deeply moving emotions within his readers.
Nathaniel says: “Ava Daniels has provided me with art, which has been published alongside my poetry on the website International times, on many occasions. Her understanding of how to represent in image form what I am trying to communicate in words has always pleased me immensely and I fee Ava always ‘gets it’ I am surprised, delighted and impressed by her art and I feel her contribution to the published piece elevates it and makes it into something of greater value than my words would achieve alone”.
Check his work and my art over on international times:

I want to share a recent poem of Nathaniel’s here to the blog:
I don’t Know Why…
I don’t know why horizontal is the best
he just seems so much better than all the rest
all the rest?
there really is only vertical to beat
and he is always on his feet!
here and there and always busy
the ground he covers makes me dizzy
horizontal needs so little space
and he is not interested in verticals rat race
of course
many say
“Well, horizontals lazy!”
but really
look at vertical and you tell me
is he not just plain crazy?
